Warehousing

Warehousing & Logistics have been our core business since 1977. Our storage capacity is designed for the short or long term storage of a large number of product categories, such as

  • plastic granules
  • regrind
  • rubber
  • phosphates
  • ADR9 substances, and
  • animal feed.

We also have a recycling department for the storage, transfer and mechanical processing of non-hazardous and hazardous solid substances. We always strive to offer you, as the customer, the same service: quality in all we do, a customer-orientated approach and extensive flexibility in tackling your challenges effectively!

Our warehouse facilities are located in Hoogstraten and Meer. Both locations are easily accessible from motorway E19 and are centrally situated between the Antwerp and Rotterdam ports. This means, we are conveniently located close to two world-class ports, untroubled by traffic congestions in and around these large cities.

We offer you:

  • warehouse storage capacity: 100,000 m2
  • 29 loading and unloading quays
  • silo storage capacity: 4,800 m3
  • dry silo storage
  • controlled and conditioned storage
  • storage of plastics, regrind, granules, rubber, animal feed and phosphates
  • different storage systems (e.g. racks, bulk, big bags, bags, boxes, loose)
  • storage of ADR9 substances
  • customs warehouse for storage type E with facilities type D.

Extremely fast digital communication
Fast communication (e.g. when responding to customer queries) between the customer and Verkooijen is vitally important. Sometimes it’ only a matter of minutes. Fast communication makes the difference between more or less efficiency. To this end, we use a cutting-edge electronic system. Our office crew is in direct contact with the crew on the work floor (up to 2 or 3 km around our business premises), so that expected and unexpected customer requests can be quickly met, or implemented.
